Did his theories/ideas impress me?

The ideas of Willard Libby about Carbon-14 did impress me. It was amazing that one element can have so many applications. Technically one isotope can have such diverse possibilities of usage. It was also impressive that this one isotope can be traced back 70,000 years. Willard Libby managed to work in a variety of different areas throughout his lifetime, which for the most part benefited all of society.

In my opinion I think Willard was given ample credit for all his work not only for Carbon-14, but also his work on the atomic bomb and tritium. He recieved various awards which complemented all his work.

I was pleased with Willard Libby as my scientist selection because I found sound information about him, but not too much that it became overwhelming. The only problem with the information was that most of  it was repetitive, so it was difficult to find various information. I found Willard Libby very interesting because I enjoyed leering how Carbon-14 worked and its applications. Willard Libby was a great contributor to the field of science and I am glad that I had the opportunity to learn more about him.
